這是個有趣的遊戲，由小小塔(Tiny Tower)的製作團隊所開發，玩家可以在自己的口袋中(手機上)管理自己的飛機以及航線，讓自己的航空事業逐漸茁壯成長起來，讓你的機隊可以載運有趣的人們以及貨物，穿梭航行在整個地圖上的250個不同的城市。

在這個遊戲剛開始的時候，玩家必需要在地圖上選擇一個起點，選好起點之後，玩家會有幾台飛機，以及好幾座機場，作為事業的起點，因此玩家一開始就可以在這幾個機場之間開始進行送貨的航次。透過這些送貨的過程，慢慢的賺錢，然後使用賺到的錢購買新的機場、飛機，以及其他需要的物品。


不同的機場也有等級的區分，小機場的貨流量比較小，而大型機場則取得更多的訂單，同時機場的等級也決定了可以停靠的飛機等級。

如果玩家要拓展新的航線，只能透過購買不同城市的機場，才能展開新的航線飛向這些新的城市機場。玩家要加快賺錢的速度，就必須購買更多的飛機增加更多的運貨量，不過玩家要考慮的是機場有一定的貨運量，太多的飛機可能會沒有足夠的貨物可以載運。

玩家除了購買飛機以外，還可以組裝飛機，或是幫現有的飛機進行升級，也可以自己給飛機取一個自己喜歡的名稱、也可以改變顏色以及變換飛機的駕駛員。

這個遊戲 除了本身進行策略發展的遊戲性以外，Pocket Planes（口袋飛機）還有許多值得意細品味觀賞的遊戲細節，例如整個遊戲世界與真實世界同步 會跟著時間進行白天黑夜的變化，有些機場還會下起大雪，這些玩家都可以在畫面中直接看到這些細節。如果玩家仔細的觀看機場裡面來來往往的人群，也常常會發現一些令人會心一笑的有趣角色。
